A bit of Art

Teegs and I went to see the Dali exhibit.
This was my favourite pic, The First Days of Spring

And we got to see a cool collaboration with Walt Disney

We also saw our friend Joy play this cool piano concert with two people and lots of banging on the inside of the piano, like this:

Then we saw Teegs friend Wardilo (aka Peta) in two shows.
Six Women Standing in Front of a White Wall, which was an amazing buto live art piece.

Then we saw here in Hamlet Apocalypse which was also really good (although Peta really should see "The Big Lebowski")

It was also Uni Games time, which means it was our 4 year Anniversary.
We went to the Stokehouse in St Kilda which was delightful.

mmm dessert

Blagh blagh blagh. Boring words. Just look at the pictures.

Soup Night at Palmer's

At World Games I saw some Fistball which is awesome.

And also got to hang out in Kaohsiung for a bit.

Sadly I got Swine Flu on the way home which had me sick up in Brisbane.

Went with Sush to see "The White Album" with Chris Cheney, Tim Rogers and co.
Cheney was very, very impressive.

Saw "The Limits of Control" with Boo Boo - I have no idea what happened, but it was very interesting.

Meanwhile Teegs was over in the UK for Kylie's Wedding

Then Kylie and Andy came over to Oz.

The gang at Etheopian.

Six Feet Under

I finally finished watching Six Feet Under today.

It had become quite painfull to watch - there were just so many awkward moments!

Beautiful ending to a beautiful show.

late ly

Lately I have had this strangest feeling,  with no vivid reasons here to find.

After constantly seeing this show in peoples "Top 5 shows of all time" lists, I finally watched "The Wire".

Even after only the first season I can see why this show made so many "Top 5" lists.

He has just started Season 2, so, hopefully, shall I.

Tegan and I went to see Synecdoche, New York.
It was amazing. A cross between Adaptation and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Very overwhelming. I will need to see it again!

Teegs and I saw Paul Kelly, live at the Palais Theatre.
He was fantastic. Vikka Bull sang some of his songs too which was amazing.

I finally finished watching all seasons of Seinfeld - I had actually never seen a couple of episodes from the last season.

There are some great lines from that season:
"There's no solarium. There's no Prickly Pete. There's no other solarium"
"The pig says, "My wife is a slut"?"

Teegs, Boo Boo and I saw the Lions put up a strong fight against St Kilda.
It was the first game we had been to in ages. The jumpers looked fantastic.

For some reason I became obsessed with this song:

And Tegan and I finished watching Survivor Gabon.

I really love Survivor. Every season pretty much exactly the same things happen, but it's still fascinating. We will start downloading the next season soon!!

CAPRIL

This month is CAPRIL!!

Capril was started on "Get This" by Tony Martin, Ed Kavalee and the late Richard Marsland (aka Armitage Shanks).

Since the sad passing of Mars Bar, Capril has been used to raise awareness of depression for men.
